http://ift.tt/H0DKRD Skogafoss // Southern Iceland \\ This has been a shot I've been excited to share and have been sitting on since getting back in late August. I was setting up the Sony A7 Infrared camera as quickly as I could in the rain, then noticed this fella so brazenly climbing the dodgy and soaked top of the troll's head (look closely--lots of faces on the features around Skogafoss). OK cool...orange jacket out in the rain...maybe he'll stand up. Nope. Just needed to get that "selfie." I busted out my Nikon and handheld a few quick shots. This is one of the most majestic scenes on the planet and you've viewed it a hundred times, but something about the tranquility of the rain at such a dynamic location meshed with someone risking it all for a "selfie" spoke volumes, both physically and culturally.
