Iconic Kirkjufell Mountain and Kirkjufellsfoss in Iceland is the joy of photographers worldwide. Most do not realize the falls are privately owned, however the owners' family has kept it open to the public for all to enjoy. Bibba and Vulkas, heirs to the land, also tend 20 horses on the property. Additionally, they care for 60 sheep and many other animals, and sell handmade sweaters made of wool from their sheep at the local hardware store and laundry. While some photographers like to drone on about how over-shot this location is, reducing Kirkjufellsfoss to a simple photography location would be a gross mistake. The experience of visiting Kirkjufell and the harsh land of west Iceland offers an inspiring and unforgettable life experience. via 500px http://ift.tt/1BSIqT0
